OWA
The students completed their term 3 OWA assessments for persuasive writing.
Music
As usual after lunch the students had music lessons with Mrs. Angus. Parents please check their agenda to see which pieces they have been asked to practice.
UOI - Flight
The students continued work on their on the summative flight devices.
Language
Some students continued writing their alternative endings to the novel and began peer editing.
Math
The grade 5' and 6's both worked form MMS this afternoon.
The grade 5's explored lesson 6 - Relating Fractions to Division. All fractions can be written as division statement. The students also learned to convert mixed and improper fractions to decimals.
Homework on pages 278 Questions 1 - 5
Grade 6's explored lesson 6 as well. Relating Fractions to Percents.
They learned that the word percent means "per one hundred" or "out of one hundred".
Please complete page 310 questions 1 - 5
Both grades were given supplemental exercises from Jump Math. This will be completed in tomorrow's lesson.
