Copper Sunrise by Bryan Buchan
The students began their final novel stud. As a group they read chapters 1 and 2. There was  a deep discussion about some of the theme and context of the story. It takes place in a time when First Nation's were treated lower than second class citizens (to put it nicely).

UOI - Flight
The students learned how the force of gravity impacts flight. They also, investigated air pressure and Bernoulli's principle.

The band 5 - 8 practiced for the Spring Concert.

Special event
After lunch, the students tucked into their Congratulations Exhibition is Completed Cake.  I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the Morris family for  providing this delicious treat for our class. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
